Long review, but worth reading if you’re on the fence about an injury attorney.Working with Tony after our car accident was a HUGE relief. My wife and I were in a pretty nasty car accident with a ride share driver who ran a red light and hit us at a decent speed. We were in a safe car, but still had significant injuries. Initially, I thought I would handle the insurance negotiations and everything on my own. The adjusters from the insurance were working with us okay at first – they acted like they would be taking care of everything. However, I didn’t accept their initial settlement offer and that’s when things went sideways. I hadn’t even received the bills from the hospital yet, and I had an insurance adjuster calling me multiple times a day to try and tell me why I needed to settle right now. I kept expressing that we hadn’t received our hospital bills, and were still in PT receiving care for our injuries, how could I know the settlement was fair? This is when they got really nasty with me and accused me and my wife of not really being injured. At that point, I instantly decided to meet with an attorney. I’m so glad that I made that decision!Beyond the excessive calls, the nastiness of the insurance adjusters, and the amount of time I was dealing with all of this, there was a lot more to settlements that I didn’t realize. There were several bills and expenses that came from this that I was not aware of. Dealing with multiple insurances and multiple claimants was not a fun process.Tony Kestner made the entire process easy. I no longer had to deal with adjusters and repeating myself multiple times. Tony was able to get us to a fair settlement that covered all of the unexpected expenses that came of all of this. If I had accepted even the third offer that the insurance had made before I received my bills, I would have been spending thousands and thousands out of pocket that wouldn’t have been covered.
